The Board of Directors of the Syracuse Fire Department Employees Federal Credit Union announces the promotion of Roxane Bowering to CEO effective Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023.
Roxane has worked in the Credit Union industry for twenty-six years, most recently as the Director of Operations at Syracuse Fire. She has been with Syracuse Fire Credit Union for twenty-two years. Roxane has served in a range of roles, but most notably as Accounting Manager for ten years. Though she started her career at Syracuse Fire as a Teller and took on Collections in addition to her responsibilities, Roxane was eventually promoted to Loan Officer. After her promotion to Accounting Manager, she thrived for ten years before recently becoming the Director of Operations. Roxane prides herself on putting members first and educating the public on scams and fraud.
Roxane currently resides in Volney with her husband and enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and her growing family.
