We took your comments from our 2025 survey and are answering!

You want it to be easier to get your money (especially out of state) and more branches.

We are excited to announce the addition of shared branching coming in quarter one of 2026! This will allow members access to more than 5,000 branches throughout the country. Don’t forget that we also have an ATM locator for you to find the ATM closest to you!

You want High Yield Savings accounts and better rates.

We are in the research phase of high yield savings accounts. Did you know that we compare our lending and savings rates with other financial institutions in the area monthly?

You want a first time homebuyer program.

We are happy to share our First Responder Adjustable Rate Mortgage Program – just ask a loan officer about it! We also offer “Home Ready” which you can learn more about on our website!

You want better communication with our vendors.

Communication is our top priority! We are always working with our vendors to make sure that our members are being provided the best service possible.

You want us to increase our presence for young adults.

We are focusing on increasing our online presence in 2026 for young adults.

You want a higher deposit amount in RDC (Remote Deposit Capture)

Our limits are put in place to protect you and us. However, we are willing to consider a one time exception for certain deposits. Just give us a call.

You want more help with long term financial planning.

Did you know that we have certified financial counselors on staff? We also partner with a local financial planner in the area.

You want to be able to use another financial institution to pay your loan.

You can! Link a savings account to your savings account here in online banking with external transfers. Speak with a loan officer about setting up an ACH payment. Or consider using Message Pay to pay your loan with another financial institution or debit card.

You want us to host our own credit cards.

We are in the research phase of hosting our own personal and business credit cards.

You want your funds to be insured past $250,000.

At this time, we offer the suggested insurance amount through the NCUA (National Credit Union Association.)

You want more hours.

We have explored opening earlier and later in the past as well as Saturday hours. Unfortunately these hours were not popular and were since reverted.

You want more giveaways.

In 2025 we gave away 24 tickets to SU Basketball games, an entire season worth of Syracuse METS tickets, a hotel room for our 75th party, over $500 in cash and gift cards, one loan payment, and six items.
