Annual Meeting: What Is It and Why?
You may notice that every year in March, we hold our Annual Meeting and Party. This year’s event was cancelled due to COVID-19, but did you know that in accordance with the National Credit Union Association we are required to have an Annual Meeting every year? This year’s meeting will be on Tuesday, September 15th at 6pm and this time it is virtual!
Many members do not know much about our Annual Meeting, but we are here to give you some insight! This tradition features an in depth look at our financials, Board of Directors nominations, and what is to come for the upcoming year. More recently, the meeting also allows us to award our college scholarship winners for the year as well. Members are encouraged to attend to learn more about their Credit Union, give suggestions, and be involved!
